Online Businesses - Sell Your Products Online
Another of the online businesses that you could go into, is selling of your own products online.
You may be the owner of a clothing shop, toy store, food processing plant … You would likely be distributing your products through different channels. Maybe through direct sales, a distributor or a retailer or a combination. You can look into the internet as another channel.
Here are things you can do:
1. Use the internet for advertising - There are lots of free advertising sites where you can post your product and develop a new source of leads. One of the sites I use is Sulit.com.
2. Write a blog about your niche or industry - when you write a blog, you will be informing people about the industry you rare in and will create an interest in your products. You can direct readers to a physical address or phone number through your blog for more inquiries.
3. Create an Online shop - this is similar to a grocery store where online shoppers can go around your website and purchase your products online. You will need to make arrangements and payments as well when you use this channel.
4. Offer your product to affiliates - If you have a website you can offer affiliates to sign up and sell your products for you. In return you will give them a percentage of your sales. This is like having an online sales team working for you.
There are a lot of opportunities to sell products online. All you need is creativity and a basic knowledge of computers. You can of course hire a third party to set this up for you if you have enough cash, but what’s the fun in that. Try it out yourself first.
If you have been selling your products online already, maybe you have other ideas to share.
